FAQs
We recommend taking Happy MI & BI® with a meal or a neutral beverage (eg. milk, soy milk) or with a large glass of water, to help decrease the stomach’s acidity. The probiotics in Happy MI & BI® are coated to improve stability and survival.
Yes, Happy Mi & BI® can be taken starting the first day of oral antibiotic treatment, then continued for 1-2 weeks after completing the course of antibiotics. This will help to maintain gut flora balance and prevent the many side effects that may develop. For best results, take Happy MI & BI® two hours before or after taking antibiotics.
For general benefits, probiotics should be taken on an ongoing basis. For specific conditions, take the probiotics for the period of time indicated in clinical studies or until satisfactory improvement is achieved.
Yogurt contains organisms from the starter cultures but does not necessarily contain probiotics (specific strains of bacteria which can travel to the gut in adequate quantities and provide health benefits). Taking a probiotic supplement with proven efficacy is the best way to get the beneficial effects needed.
